Out youngest was just a couple weeks away from turning four years old when she was diagnosed with celiac disease last August. It was very hard for her to understand that some food was now unsafe. So I created this giraffe printable to put on anything and everything. It really helped her easily see what was safe to eat even when Mom wasn’t around to ask.
I hope this FREE printable will help those of you with little ones who can’t read labels yet. It’s amazing how quickly they pick up learning what is safe. My daughter is constantly talking about what is gluten free and what isn’t and it’s been less than one year.
Kids really are often better than adults at adapting to a gluten free diet.
The full printable contains 20 2 inch by 2 inch squares. I print it this sticker paper on my regular printer. Then simply use a paper slicer to cut into the squares. Having a sticker like this is nice when taking dessert to family parties, putting it on a treat bag at school, and on food you are taking to a church event. There is also a single image you can download too.
