Method
- Place trivet in Instant Pot. Place eggs on trivet. Pour water in. Seal Instant Pot making sure the vent is in the sealed position. Set to Manual for 4 minutes for large brown eggs.
- After the 4 minutes, let it naturally depress for 3 minutes. Then quick release.
- Immediately remove eggs and place in an ice bath(large bowl with water and ice)
- When eggs are cooled, they are ready to eat. Store in the refrigerator.
Notes
If you are using large white eggs, they seem to have a quicker cook time(at least in my instant pot), so the yolk will turn that grayish color around the edges if you cook the full time of this recipe. I recommend cooking 3 minutes on manual, then natural depress 2 minutes, then quick release.
